Why does my Keto-Mojo meter reading keep showing "333"?

Updated 1 week ago by Erika

The 333 code means your meter has not yet been coded to your batch of ketone strips. In order to eliminate the 333 code, you need to sync your Keto-Mojo meter to the batch of strips you are using. Luckily, this is very easy to do!

To sync your meter to your strips, do the following:

  1. In every box of ketone strips there is a special code chip. The code chip helps calibrate the meter to the electrical resistance of the enzymatic batch. Place the code chip into the top of the meter.
  2. Wait for the meter screen to show "CH" for checking and then display the code that is the same as the code on the side of the vial of strips. It's that simple!

If the screen shows error code E-2  instead of the code on the side of the vial of strips, it's likely the date is not properly programmed on your meter. (The date must be properly set for the meter correctly read the strips.) To resolve this, check the year setting on your meter.
