LO and HI Reading, what do they mean

Updated 3 weeks ago by Michelle Pool

Our meter accurately reads Ketones from from 0.1 mmol/L ~ 8.0mmol/L

Readings Below 0.1, the meter will show a reading of Lo.  Meaning that your Ketone levels are below our ability to detect them.

If you are getting a low reading, you might want to review what carbohydrates you are consuming and see by adjusting your carbohydrate consumption how that affects your reading.

Another reason you might get a "Lo" reading is if you have not calibrated your meter with code chip that comes with each pack of ketone strips.

Readings above 8.0 will show HI. Meaning that your Ketone levels are above our ability to detect them.

Instructions to do this are here Coding you keto-mojo Blood Ketone strips to your meter
